What I love best about the butler bad guy is that he literally has two steaming piles of crap decorating his shirt! lmao!! I love how they sneak things like that in :)

i dunno, maybe he just doesn't like the character, I know I didn't when I first watched this show. Usopp is for sure not everyone's cup, but we also don't really know his backstory at this point, so all his negative attributes over shadow everything else. For a first time watcher, they have no idea that the townspeople aren't actually mad at Usopp and that in their own way, they're playing a long with him because of his tragic past. It's part of their normal routine. I have to say though, Usopp does improve as the show continues and I feel that out of all the straw hats he probably goes through the most growth as a character because he was already so far behind if that makes any sense.

I felt the same way when I first saw this show, I could not understand the point of him. But as the show continues and you learn Usopp's back story and the connection he has to the townspeople it really started to shift things for me in regards to him. Seeing him grow as a character has been rewarding to see because he fights so hard to overcome his fears and his faults which is something that I can kind of relate to I guess. Anyways, hopefully you're far enough into the show now where you can be like 'yeah, i get it now' lol :)
